So I did it!

I did my first three color silk screen and I think it looks pretty damn cool.

I want to do more, but I need to go get some containers to mix ink in, and I also need to get something to mix the ink with.

This has been so much fun. There were a lot of things that I learned along the way, and I have a lot more to learn, but honestly i was prepared for far worse results.

It's been a pretty good day so far. Little anxieties...but over all good. I woke up to thunder this morning, so that was a little exciting. It looks like there might be more on the way...

Anyway, thanks for all the kind, encouraging words from that last post. I am so glad to have this little community of people to lift my spirits up when things get tough :)

Hope you all have a great weekend, and be safe!

Right on with your awesome silk screening self! I admire your thirst for new mediums and techniques.

Awesome new painting as well.

I love it! I am building up the courage to tackle screenprinting. I have had the kit for over a year now. I am even to wussy to use my gocco!
