Two Jobs

I've been working two jobs this week and it's been taking it's toll on me.

I love working at the art supply store, and I like my job at the grocery store, but I have one day of this week, and it's been rough.

I have tomorrow off, and I am really looking forward to being in my studio most of the day. One of the benefits of working a regular job is that you really appreciate working in your studio, and working on your art work. at least I do.

I'm going to try to spend some of my day outside of the studio too. :)
Hope everyone had a good long weekend, and a good week so far!

As much as I like my job, it is really hard to go when I am in the middle of making art. I think it's amazing that those of us who make art and work outside of that get as much done as we do.

I guess I think it's hard...

whether it's an outside job (or two) or three kids ranging in age from 5-13 it's all about figuring it out and constantly reworking the mix. it's not really about balance cause that implies one has more weight or is equal to and/or less than the other...they all have to find a way to co-exist. it's a crooked path but we will all find our way eventually...

It is really hard to fit it all in some days... kids, work, art, friends etc... (when I say some days I mean most days)

I hope you have a good time in and out of your studio tomorrow.
