Wow! it's been awhile.
I had a great vacation!
We visited wineries in the Willamette Valley. I never realized just how many there were, here, in Oregon. We bought several bottles and they were all so wonderful.
We hiked up along the ocean too. It was really incredible. We started at the bottom of the trail in a forested area, then proceeded to a dry desert trail, which led us way up into a rain forest. It was pretty incredible walking through three different eco systems within an hour and a half. One of the many wonderful things about living here :)
We hung out on the beach quite a bit, drinking beers and reading books. We sat out in the hottub at night watching the clouds and listening to the ocean. We relaxed, hung out with Nate's family, ate good food, and had a really great time.
I didn't want to go home.
