Yesterday I worked and painted and drew and sewed and made a huge mess.
I totally lost myself and it felt so great.
It's been awhile since I've done that and I am so glad I was able to do so.
It's chilly and cool in Portland right now. The leaves are starting to fall off the trees and you can smell them decomposing in the cold air. I love this time of year.

I was on twitter and mentioned that I had overworked the piece, and she suggested I paint it all black :) It worked out very well.

Beautiful piece! Getting caught up in your work and losing track of time seems to be a big part of that creative side. Then you look up a couple hours later and realize you're hungry.
