Hey!
It's Thanksgiving in the United States today.
Sometimes the holidays are really hard for me. My family and I aren't very close and the holidays can be a little rough. This holiday I'm trying to push past that and focus on the things I do have. after all, that's what today is all about, right?
I'm thankful today for my healthy happy pup, my sweet boyfriend, my home, my co-workers, my friends, the interenets, good food, and clean sheets.

It's unfortunate that you and your family aren't close, but as I'm sure you know, you can make your own family, which it sounds like you've done with your boyfriend, puppy, and friends!

Happy Thanksgiving Michele! I can understand where you're coming from, but like Rin said, while you can't always choose who you're related to, you can choose who your "family" is. I hope you had a lovely day.
