almost done!

I am getting so close to being done with this current series of paintings.

I'm excited and of course worried. Worried that they're not god enough. Worried that maybe I could have worked harder. Worried that no one is going to like them. all those voices of worry can be so overwhelming, and I've been fighting a good fight with them today!

I'm just ignoring everything that they're saying and moving forward. I did what I could. I pushed myself into a new direction. I worked hard. I sacrificed beautiful sunny days to get them finished. I know that in the end, they are exactly what I set out to do, and now they're almost done, and I'm ready to move on with my new projects.

That's the best that I can do in this moment and that is just fine with me.

Hope everyone is having a good Wednesday.

Oh my goodness, you have NOTHING to worry about! Your work is always amazing. I love how you can make such ordinary things so beautiful and interesting. From grain elevators, water towers, typewriters, chairs, to someone looking at yarn. Your hard work doesn't go unnoticed. Like the saying goes, we are our worst critic. Stop worrying, you did a great job!
