oh. My.

Whoa....

It's been
awhile since I posted a blog.
Yikes! Things h
ave been so crazy the past couple of weeks. I don't even know where to begin.

So I won't. Things
are going great. Very busy, but very good.

Cr
afty Wonderland in in two weeks! If you're in Portland please stop by and say hello.
It should be lots of fun. There
are going to be so many wonderful artists and it would be a shame to miss it. I'm really excited. I'm hoping to meet some of the artists I've been "stalking" the last couple of years. :)

Well, I'll le
ave you with a bit of inspiration today. I love ranunculus and I was lucky to receive some the other day. They're just so dense and vibrant. One of my all time favorite flowers.
So they've been my sunny bit of inspir
ation the last couple of days.

Goodbye 2008!

This is my last blog post of 2008!

Goodbye 2008.
It's been fun, but I am so ready for 2009.

So many great things are going to happen, and I am ready!
The big one of course is my move home. Eeeeeee!! I am beyond excited about this.

Also, I am going to have a solo show in California, in June, and I am already getting started on that.
Hopefully that will keep me busy through April, and it the move home won't seem like such a long wait.

2009 is also going to be the year that Michael and I can finally start our lives! Our real lives. Lives together without school, without crappy jobs, without putting our life on hold for major things to be over and done with. Maybe, just maybe, we might even get to be married :)

We are also going to get started working on our little house. New floors, new paint, a new bathroom. Yes! I am really excited about that.

Of course I am also completely excited about my work, and the direction that is going. I am hoping to continue my life as an artist. This past year I learned a million new things, so I am so much more prepared for what's coming. I am also anticipating a million new things to learn...
Hopefully, fingers crossed, I will be able to move into a fabulous studio shared with some of my friends from PSU! That is, if there is still a spot available when I move back. I'm crossing my fingers that there will be...that would be so amazing.

I'm so looking forward to how much my work will change with my move back home...I have a feeling it's going to change pretty dramatically....

Anyway, thank you all for reading my blog this year!
I hope you all have a fantastic year in 2009!!
