Monday!
It's Monday!
I feel like I haven't written a blog spot in months.
It was kinda nice to take a break from it for awhile. I just didn't really have anything good to say. Not that I ever have profound, earth shattering, things to say...this last week was particularity uneventful.
Well, except for Christmas!! We had a good Christmas. It was very quiet.
We opened presents, ate a lot of food and candy, drank a lot of beer, played a lot of board games, and saw the movie Benjamin Button, or as Michael likes to call it, Benjamin Buttons.
We were both kinda hoping that we would somehow get iPhones for Christmas, so we've been holding out to get new phones for almost a year now. Since neither one of us got one, and since we decided that they were a little over rated, and way out of our budget...the $130+ phone bill is way out of range...we decided to finally upgrade our phones.
I am really happy with mine :D It's super cute, and easy to use.
I also got some more text messages so I can text my little heart out.
Michael's is cool too, but not as cute.
Saturday was really warm, and all the snow melted away, but I captured some shots of these icicles right outside our front door before they melted. So now there's no more snow! Yay! I better be careful about what I say regarding snow. We'll probably be hit with a severe snow storm tonight or something....
So yeah, that's about it.
New Years is coming next, and I can't believe it's going to be 2009.
I have a lot of plans coming up in 2009...lots of things going on...
Anyway, hope everyone is have a great Holiday thus far. :)

Your phone debate sounds like mine and Justin's! Our contract is about to end which means we can get a new phone. Justin's probably getting the G1 and I'm not sure what I want yet...
Merry Monday! Seattle's snow is finally back to normal --- rain! ;)
Yeah, the G1 looks pretty cool!
I kinda want to see what the second generation G phone is like.
I'd love to have internet access everywhere I go, but seeing as I don't go too many places as of right now, I'm pretty happy with just a regular cell phone :D
I agree about the iphone, I am now content to just know people with iphones :) I am also due an upgrade, it is so confusing with all the options. I think I will just go for something cute and lightweight.
ok i have to say i did get an iphone for christmas... and i love it!. i'd had the same phone for 6 or 7 years and needed the simplest option out there (my other gifts were a muffin tin and a potato ricer)....
how many days now Michele (you need a ticker in your side bar...)
beth
Cool new phone! I need a new one! Those icicles look super deadly, glad they melted! Have a great new year!
I totally need a ticker Beth!! :)
Hmmm...
I have one on my Myspace, but I should see if I can find one for my blog...
I'm glad no one got me a phone... I can't learn to use one more electronic thing...but I wish all the phone talkers a great time!
Michele, what kind of press did you buy, and what size bed does it have?
I think I'm going to sell my big press because it conflicts with ginger's sawdusty woodshop and get a smaller one for my studio.
appreciate the info!
and those ice daggers! wow...
Happy new week... Janice
Hey Janice!
I got my press from Dick Blick.
It's the Dick Blick 999 Model 2.
The bed size is 17x35" long.
It's a great little press and I am happy with it :D
How is Benjamin Button? I have mix feelings about it. As for a cell phone. I'm at a loss. I REALLY want the G1 but T-Mobile service is far from being AT&T or Verizon. *sigh.....
