Gardening

One of the best things about moving back to our house in Portland is that we are able to have a really nice sized garden.

I love gardening, especially vegetables.
We've already got a few things growing, and hopefully we can get to the nursery today to get some more things. So far we have strawberries (just a few), basil, zucchini, pie pumpkins, carrots, and some jalapenos. Plus tons of herbs. Lavender, rosemary, thyme, oregano, and lemon balm. We still need to get some cilantro, tomatoes, and our room mate, Jeremy wants to plant a blueberry bush.

Most of the herbs I planted before we moved, and they were just small starts when I got them. Now they're beautiful, yummy, and huge! Everyone made fun of me for planting them right before I moved, and now I'm laughing at them. Ha! I knew they would be wonderful when I got back, and I was right.

anyway, hope everyone is having a good Friday, and hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Those strawberries look good! We planted a salsa garden a few weeks ago, tomatoes, hot peppers and cilantro. It's coming right along! Actually it's hubby's garden, I just reap the rewards:)
Last summer we planted a pumpkin patch. It looked beautiful but we never got any pumpkins:(
