Hello 2011

Hi!
I'm here. My 2011 has been great so far.
I've been t
aking a lot of stock in my life. Trying to figure some things out. Good things and not so great things. I've been taking lots of winter walks with Chloe and stopping to discover the things I pass daily.

I've
also been enjoying where I am right now in my life. Trying not to get too caught up in "Oh-I-Have-to-do-XYZ-Today-or-else-my-world-will-fall-apart!!"

I've trying to to pl
ace too much importance on time or money really and just trying to live day to day with good intentions and meaning.

I've
also been extremely social which is both a challenge and a learning experience. Learning that it's okay to go out and that it's a very good thing to be around other people. I just get so caught up in my head, and my little world, that I forget these things. It's also been a bit difficult. I feel so awkward when I'm in a social situation. I'm forcing myself to not feel this way, and to realize that maybe that's okay. That maybe I need to feel that way so I can move past it, and get over it.

There are a lot of things that I have planned for this year, art wise. I'm really thinking about Etsy and my life, and my career as an artist. I'm putting a lot of though and asking a lot of people for their advice. So, there might be some changes coming, but I am ready for them, and I am welcoming those changes with open arms!

Hope you
are well!

Very nice "real" post. I look forward to seeing the changes you make - but I'm sure your work will remain gorgeous ! :)

A very productive looking beginning to your year indeed! I love your artwork and can't wait to see what direction you take with your business.
Looks like you're having some very positive self-reflection time as well as fun time with others.
Good for you!

Great new year post. I can relate to that "in my head"-awkward-in-social-situations bit so much! Good luck with your new directions..your work is lovely, I'm excited to see what you'll be up to.

Add another person to the awkward social circle. I get the "forced" feeling, really, it's always that way for me, too, even with people I've known for years. Taking a Spanish class is forcing me to be more social and VERY awkward, haha! Good for you on taking lots of walks; I'm doing that daily--with a goal to go outside more this year.
