I started two new paintings today, and I got very far on one of them.
They're small. I like small.
I have several large panels in the garage, but I am so afraid of them. I have no idea how I am going to fill up all that space....
On another note, I've been doing a bit of gardening lately! My neighbor let me borrow some containers and I've planted some tomatoes, peppers, cilantro, strawberries, mint, and some basil. I had forgotten how much I love planting things and working in the yard.
It's so meditating and there is such a feeling of accomplishment from it. Chloe loves it too. We bought her a long lead so she can hang out in the yard with us while we work. Lots of sunbathing is going to be in that little dog's future.

Working in the garden and planting is the perfect complement to working in the studio. The new paintings look great so far and I'm with you on a fear of working big...it's so different than small. I like small too : ) You sound happy!
I am so happy!! :D I was thinking today about how happy I am. I am truly grateful for everything in my life right now.
