Thanks!

Thanks everyone for being so supportive!

It is greatly appreciated. :)

This morning is going so much better.
I am getting work done, listening to a new mix CD, and it's sooo nice outside.

It's weird to think it was 34 degrees yesterday, and it's 57 degrees right now.

So I have several special orders to get done, and I am just about finished with two.
I painted this Pink Bike for ArtsyOrange.
You should check out her Etsy shop!
She has some really pretty pendants.

I am also almost done with a little chair painting for the DDP gallery.
It for a charity event that helps to benefit people with disabilities become acting members of their community.

I just realized that I forgot to take a picture of it...
opps.

Moving on...I also finished this painting this other chair painting this morning. I like the lone chair, on the floor, and the the little balloon. It's sad, but happy at the same times.

I am almost done with this typewriter painting too. I painted the keys this morning, and now I have to sit down and figure out the letters, and give it a nice coat of wax.

I have digital photography class tonight and I am really not looking forward to it.
Really.

Finally!

So we finally found out why Chloe has been having tummy issues.
It turns out that she Girardia!
It's a parasite, nothing to horrible, and it's totally treatable. So, that was good to hear.

Um...I have been working hard on the group show that I will be a part of in December at the DDP gallery in Arkasas, and I have also been working on some pieces for the Nectar Boutique. I am more than half way done on the 20 or so pieces that need to be competed by the end of the week. I love working small. It's so quick and easy.

I am also working on some new pieces for my Etsy shop. I didn't think that I would really be selling all that many paintings and now I am beginning to wonder if I should have done more to prepare myself for the "holiday shopping." I just didn't really think people would be interested in purchasing art for gifts...
I am contemplating turning some of my original paintings into giclee prints. The prints that I had of the Steel Bridge, and the Grain Tower didn't sell to quickly, but I am wondering if some of my more recent work, like the paintings that I had at Stumptown would sell. I still don;t really know how I feel about selling reproductions of my work either. I just feel that my work should be more about the work itself, and not about making money. However, making some money would be pretty awesome right about now.

Ok, it's movie time.

Friday

Hi!

So I just about got cleaned out of my shop this week!
I opened my e-mail and had sold 7 pieces over night! To one person!

So i have been trying to get some new pieces done. I also was offered a spot in a group show for December for a gallery called DDP Gallery in Arkansas. You can visit then at www.ddpgallery.com I was also offered to sell some pieces on consignment to a small shop called Nectar in Utah! I'm going national. :)

Chloe os doing well. She was having some bad tummy troubles this week, but they seem to be getting much better as of today. Which is a BIG relief! It's so awful seeing your pet/baby uncomfortable and you don't know why. Plus it's scary when your puppy is sick. I was so scared that she might have Parvo or something. God, that would have been so horrible...so I am thankful that she is doing better. She goes in for the beginning of her last shots. She should be ready to go out and play and run by the end of the month. Not that she's really going to want to with the cold and snow...

Ok, I must get ready for some art opening this evening. I don't really want to go. I'd much rather stay home drink some good beer and peruse the internets...
