So last night I went out and got social.
It was fun.

First we went to the Jane Hammond lecture at the DIA.
She was a really great speaker, and I really enjoyed hearing her speak.

Then we went and watched the debate at Cranbrook....

Then we went to the Crowfoot to see Man Man. Oh! and then (I know...so social) we went out with some of the peeps in sculpture to my favorite bar in Pontiac. The Majestic. It's pretty awesome. PBR for $1.88!

So yeah. I'm a little tired today...but good.

I finished these two illustrations today, and I am pretty happy with them. :)

Ok. I'm hungry...and Chloe needs a W A L K and I also want to watch the new Britney Spears video...

Much Better

The last few days have been pretty blah. Just didn't feel like making anything or doing anything...

But today has been much better!

I got a lot of work done and I came to the conclusion that I really wasn't happy with about three of the paintings that I have been working on. So I am sanding them out and starting over. It's good though. I am glad that I realized this before it was too late, and I had to send them out to the galleries.

I have a better idea of what I want to paint, and it's good.
I have a lot of ideas going on in my head, and it's really just a matter of prepping some panels, and a larger canvas, to get started...I am excited again. Yay!

Do you ever just get stuck? Like you are kinda waiting for some new ideas or some inspiration and then it hits you and you can't wait to get to work? I love that feeling.

Anyway...I am actually really really hungry. We don't really have any snacks in the house, and because I can't really cook, I just eat snacks for lunch, and because there aren't any snacks in the house all I had for lunch was a Diet Coke and I am starving!! Wow, the grammar and punctuation in that sentence is beyond horrible...but I don't really care :)

From this point on most of my paintings are going to be framed.
It just looks so nice.

My head hurts a little today. Not enough water, and I think I should eat something. Today has been one of those days that I just forgot to eat. It happens pretty frequently actually.

So I am going to keep this short so I can remember to eat food.

I don't know what I am going to have. We don't have much...
