Casiotone for the Painfully alone

I came across this band when I was listening to The National station on Pandora.
I instantly fell in love and wanted to share it.

So I searched on YouTube for the perfect video.
Low and behold there was one made by one of my very favorites, Julia Pot.



This song sounds a bit different than the album I've been listening to, which happens to be the first two albums by Casiotone. But, it's still got the same feel and it's such a cute video.

This video and my cup of coffee totally made my morning. Hope everyone has a really great weekend!

Good Times

I discovered Pandora the other day.

I've known about it for awhile...I just never thought I'd really be into it.
I was wrong. Very wrong.

I fricken love this website.

For someone who sits and listens to music all day, this site is perfect. It's totally free and easy to sign up for. You just plug in a band, or a song, you'd like to hear, and it makes a play list/station for you. There are some commercials, but only about 1 every hour or so.

Today I've been reliving my past by listening to some of my favorite bands from when I was 15. Screeching Weasel, The Queers, Rancid, Minor Threat, all, and so many many more. I love it.
It's bring back some really great memories for me.
