I wanted to post a quick blog this morning while I am drinking my coffee.
One of my fellow Etsy peeps has just started an Etsy Encaustic Blog, and I think that this is going to be really great.

I think it's pretty cool, especially because everyone always seems really interested in encaustic painting, and because it's just a really cool technique.
Anyway, it's a lovely rainy morning, and I am drinking coffee out of my favorite mug, and I have a gazillion things to do today...but things are going really well.

Thanks for sharing Michele. It's a meassage after my heart.I just started my firts serie of 5 encaustic paintings(hope to list them tomorrow in my etsy). It's so incredibly cool. The softness and the debt is really really adictive. I just orderd some more encaustic paint. And now i am on my way to check the encaustic blog you've mentioned.
I'm so glad that you featured this. I've wanted to incorporate encaustics in my art for a long time...never started, and a blog on the subject would be so wonderful to visit and learn!
i have her in my favorites and will have to add her blog too! id like to try out that technique as i never have before.
