Balance

Oh my.
This whole working full time and doing Etsy/art stuff is tough.
I didn't re
alize just how much work I put into Etsy and making art.
I've been trying to do both
and finding a good balance has been hard.

This morning I
am trying to remind myself to not rush. To not race. That everything that needs to get done, will get done, and that it is going to be just fine in the end. Maybe I won't be able to get my clothes hung up, or maybe the dishes in the sink aren't going to get done...until next week...but even if that's true, it's not the end of the world. No one is going to die if I don't answer their e-mail right away. Right?

So here I
am with my cup of coffee and some Y La Bamba, getting ready to start another work day. Hope everyone has a wonderful, relaxing, weekend.

I know it's tough, but I'm sure that soon you'll find the right balance.

michele - i agree wholeheartedly with everything you're saying. put the dishes on hold... they are already dirty. art making is definitely more fun!

I agree with you, I am only working part time at the moment and trying desperately to produce as much artwork as possible. I do not know how you manage fulltime work and being an Artist/running online shop, Kudos to you. you must have more energy then a Duracell bunny :-)

Take care
John
P.S.
Ilike your new piece.

Michele, I hear you.. I've just done the opposite and quit my day job but to tell the truth, I don't seem to be producing any faster. What I have more time for is marketing, but still, that's not why I quit :S

I think I need to write a list out..(so I can lose it and spend time searching for it)..lol
