Happy Valentines Day!

Tomorrow is Valentines Day!
yay!

I spent the day making cupcakes for Michael and for the BT Meetup this weekend.

I hope you all have a wonderful Valentines Day :D
I will be spending my afternoon in room full of mushy faced Boston Terriers.
Yes, the Metro Detroit Boston Terrier Meetup group is getting together
tomorrow, so that we can get all our BTs together and to help out the
Midwest Boston Terrier rescue.

I just made the big mistake of checking out that site and I am totally in love with Gem...
*sigh*

Anyway, I also love going to those meet ups because it totally wears Chloe out :)
She has been doing so much better at meetups! I am so proud of her.
Many of you already know that Chloe had a lot of vomiting issues around other dogs, and she is also really shy. She is still a bit shy, but I think I can safely say that the vomiting has gone away! Yay!

We also plan on seeing the movie Coraline. I've heard from several people that the movie is based on a little girl who moves from Pontiac, Michigan to Portland! How funny is that??
Hopefully we'll get to go see it. Michael has a bit of a temperature today, and is not feeling well.
He seems to be feeling a little better, so we'll have to wait and see.

Thursday

I hate coming up with original blog titles.

Anyway.
Lots and lots of work done today.

I collaged my little heart out and made a big mess.

Busy, busy, busy....

My panels are behaving themselves quite nicely too. No warping, cracking, or bubbling!
This is going to be good.

We started re-watching Twin Peaks last night. I watched the whole series about 8 years ago...it's a pretty brilliant show.

I am thinking about making a short video on parts of my process. I don't know though. It might be kinda boring, but maybe some people would like it.

I had to throw the last cupcake away. The frosting was all melty, and it was soggy. :( I have no sugar in the apartment, and no car to go get more sugar...I have a true addiction.

Anyhow. I have pressing matters to attend to today. Ok, not really, I just wanted to sound important.

Cupacke Love

I am making cupcakes, so I have to make this quick.
I am notorious for burning everything...I just get too distracted.

Anyhow. Truck is still outta commission and I think it's going to cost my first born to fix. Awesome!

Um. I tried to ride my bike to Kinkos and had to dodge about a gazillion broken bottles. Why do people break bottles on the sidewalk? Really? Where is that going to get you?

I went for a run today. It felt really good. I could feel myself getting really tense, anxious and stressed out, and a nice hard run changed everything. And I only got honked at once! I try to dress really dumpy when I go jogging, but I always seem to get at least one honk. Why do people do that? Why do people yell out the window at you too? Why?

My show is up! Jeremy says it looks awesome. So hopefully I will get some sales.

My mom had major back surgery today. She's ok. I called her. She's on morphine right now, and her she was talking with a little bit of a slur. She is still in a lot of pain, but at least she is alive :)

That's all I got! I gotta go get my cupcakes before they burn!!!!
