Snow.

It snowed today.
Seriously.

Other than that I have had a terrific day.

Very productive.

I went to the gym for the first time in weeks. My body is going to hate me tomorrow. I did stay far away from the CrunchMaster 3000. I'd like to be able to move tomorrow.

So I tried my hand at block printing today. It's funny to think that I have a degree in Printmaking and have never really made a block print. I was more concerned with mastering my drypoint skills, which I did.

I also started to work on some new panels. Getting them prepped for painting. Hopefully I can start one tomorrow. The one panel has a pretty thick cradle. Michael used some scrap wood and thought it looked cool. I dunno, I guess we'll see how it turns out.

I would like to finish my block print tonight. If I can manage to stay of the internet tonight, I should be able to. I am so addicted. I think I might need an intervention....

Just wanted to say how much I enjoy reading your blog, Michele! My friend, Linda O'Neill turned me on to you and I'm so glad she did. I REALLY enjoyed reading your Etsy tips, too! Hugs, Shari

Oh, you are making me want to get back into block printing! Are you using a press or hand printing? I have to wait until this summer to use a press (I have a job this summer as a high school art teacher) and I can't wait, I find hand printing sooo tedious!
