Wow. It's 7:30 am and I feel like I've already gotten so much accomplished.
I feel like this is a good sign.

Let's Celebrate!

So in just a few days March will be here.
March is a pretty significant month for me.

March 7 marks my two year anniversary on Etsy (even though I didn't really start selling until the end of October 2007).

March 9th marks Michael's 8 week mark until graduation. Yay!

March 21st is the first day of Spring! Yay! That's something to really look forward to as well.

Anyway, lots of great dates are coming up and I thought it would be a great way to celebrate by having a month long blog give away! Yes, the entire month :D

So...this is how it will work. Starting on Monday, I will post a question, and I will give my answer, and would like for you to leave your answer in the comments section. Every Thursday evening at 7pm, I will draw a name randomly, and announce the winner on Friday! Every week during March.

Well, that's about it. It's a gray cold day here in Pontiac, and I've been listening to the Decemberists and drinking peppermint tea all day....
I seriously can't believe that we are getting down to counting weeks...9...wow. It's keeping me going for sure.

It's Friday!

Yup!

Ok, I don't have a lot to talk about today.
The self portraits are slow going. It's really hard to do them.
Well, I have one drawn out and ready to paint...but the other one I am working on is tough.
I've drawn and erased all day, and in the end all I am left with is a gessoed panel.

Maybe today is not my day for drawing. Honestly, all I have wanted to do all day is drink Diet Coke and read People Magazine...maybe some US Weekly. Oh well....

So! Who's going to watch the debate tonight??
I heard John McCain already has an ad campaign that praises his winning the debate :)

Well, I think I'm done for today.
tomorrow is the farmer's market and steam cleaning the rugs!

Hey!
Well another weekend goes by.
I got a lot of work done. Mostly homework. Michael got the panels for my next show finished and I got those all gessoed up today. It was a productive weekend. I did feel a bit lonely and homesick...but what can you do?

Chloe was better, but puppy training class this weekend upset her stomach again. We just had Georgia over and that made her get sick too. I am positive that it's stress related. Poor baby. I just don't really know what to do other than expose her to more dogs and bring her more places. I hope it goes away as she gets older.

I ordered 6 prints today. Eeee! They should be here at the end of the week....
We'll see how things go. Alright. Hope everyone had a good weekend.
